How To Reach Villa del Balbianello?

Villa del Balbianello is located in Lenno, Lake Como. If you are traveling from anywhere else in Lake Como, you must first reach Lenno by bus, taxi, or ferry.

Then you have two options:

1. It will take around 15 minutes to walk to the Villa on the hill. The road is beautiful as well. From the top of the lake, you will see a great panorama. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes to make the walk smooth.
2. Take a taxi boat from Lenno. It will take only 5 minutes to reach the Villa by the lake. You can enjoy the views from a different side and take some unique videos. You need to wait for the boat, as it usually comes every 30 minutes.

Can I take pictures at Villa del Balbianello?

You can take photos at Villa del Balbianello, which is a museum. You are allowed to use your phone or camera in certain areas. Feel free to take pictures of your family or selfies for personal use. 

If you want a professional photo shoot, request a permit at least 90 days before your shoot. Extra fees will apply. A photographer can help you with this process.
