I design for women in motion.
I grew tired of eveningwear that asked a woman to stand still — heavy, rigid gowns built for one room and one night. So I make the opposite: dresses cut from natural silks and breathable fabrics that fold into almost nothing and fall open the moment you arrive. Light enough to dance in. Refined enough for the most important night of your life.
Everything begins at Lake Como — the light moving on the water, silk caught in the breeze off the lake. Each dress starts as a sketch on my table and leaves the atelier by my hands.

Every FRAQAIR dress is made in Italy, in small numbers, in an atelier between Milan and Lake Como. Nadia designs and directs every piece; a small circle of artisans and embroiderers brings each one to life. Natural fabrics chosen for their lightness. Silk that breathes. Seams that give. Embroidery worked by hand. Dresses made slowly, to be worn for years.
